What's new in Crew 4.8
Rides, so everyone knows which car they're in and when it leaves.

4.8 is out. This one started with a crew of 55 people and one coach bus.
Rides
Carpools are now Rides, and every ride shows who's in it.
Add a car, a bus or a shuttle. Say when it leaves, where it leaves from and how many seats it has. Then anyone on the trip can tap Join and their face shows up on the ride. "12 of 55 seats" tells you how much room is left, and it says Full when there isn't any.
Organizers can seat people too, straight from the crew list. Handy when one person is filling a whole bus.
Rides are grouped into Getting there, During the trip and Going home, so the drive up and the drive back never get mixed up.
Rides on the itinerary
A ride with a leaving time shows up on that day of the itinerary, right between your plans. Change the time on the ride and the itinerary moves with it.
Driving in from another time zone? Pick the zone the ride leaves in. It shows the time the driver actually said, like "11:00 pm EDT", and still lands on the right day of the trip.
Rides work the same way on the web.
Invite attendees or organizers
The invite page asks who you're inviting. Attendees join the trip and everything in it. Organizers can change the plan too. Each one gets its own link, so you can send the right one to the right group.
Expenses in your trip's currency
Heading abroad? Organizers can set the trip's currency, and every expense, balance and settle-up shows in it. Add a cost in another currency and Crew converts it for you, or you can use your own rate.
Around the trip
- Your agent is labelled Travel Agent everywhere, and typing @ai always finds it
- The agent opens faster, and stops typing the moment its answer lands
- Your profile shows what the crew still needs from you for each trip
- The "going" count is the people who've said they're in
